Ziggy Dee (Adam Mutyaba Mukiibi) broke through in the early 2000s with “Eno Mic,” a Luganda ragga/Bongo Flava fusion recorded in Dar es Salaam that became an East African hit.
He never quite matched that success again despite work with Bobi Wine and tracks like “Sunda,” promoters kept pushing him to just perform “Eno Mic.”
